The group held its Biennial show over the past weekend, 21-22 March, in Lower Plenty.
The show was a resounding success and a huge thank you must go out to all the members of our group for their participation and all the hard work in getting the show organised and packed up which helped make it a success.
There must also be a huge thank you sent out to everyone who came to see our exhibition, bought raffle tickets and provided us with such wonderful compliments and feedback - thank you for your support - it means so much to us!
The raffle was drawn and the prizes won. Following are some photos of our members receiving various awards for their exhibited quilts. Two additional awards were handed out - one for best Child's Quilt to Christine (a quilt that included (quilted) drawings by her grandson) - she received a fabric pack from Kate's Sewing Centre, and Best Large Quilt went to Helen D (for her Mocha quilt) who received a Gourmet Living Voucher.
