Out and about
Hello!
Just a reminder that the Australasian Quilt Convention starts tomorrow and runs until Sunday, 19 April 2015. The show is being held at the Royal Exhibition Building at 9 Nicholson Street, Carlton Gardens, Melbourne.
Opening hours are 10.00am to 4.30pm daily and while you are there you can visit our President, Deb Layt at Palm Beach Quilting on Stand 28 to purchase her new book "Quilting Analysis". Make sure you call in and say hello!

What: A juried exhibition showcasing the extraordinary work being created in Australia’s contemporary quilt art circles.
**NINA GOULD & ISABELLE MARTIN - DESIGN & STITCH EXHIBITION - HALLS GAP**

Where: Kookaburra Hotel 125 - 127 Grampians Rd, Halls Gap
What: Innovative fabric piecing and stitching. Natural fabrics used are bought, recycled, swapped or inherited and they are manipulated and altered with paint, dye or machine or hand stitching for further embellishment. Both traditional and experimental fabric piecing has been used with stitching used for embellishment that reflects the design each individual art work.
