Are you keen to get out and about and take in some quilting inspiration? If so, there are a few quilt shows being held around the State:
Goldfield Quilters Quilt In
When: 19th October; 10am - 4pm
Where: Campbell's Creek Community Centre, Elizabeth Street, Campbell's Creek
Guest Speaker: Linda Steele
Morning and afternoon teas will be provided. Soup will be available for $2.00 per mug at lunch time. BYO lunch and mug.
There will be a raffle of a quilt made by one of the group's members and lucky door prizes
Eastern Palliative Care Quilt Show - 'Quilts Loved and Used'
When: 18th - 19th October; 10am - 4.30pm
Where: Nunawading Uniting Church, 361 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading
Entry: $5.00
Refreshments and shopping opportunities as well as beautiful quilts.
An Evening with Dr Annette Gero
Dr Annette Gero will speak about "The Soul of Old Quilts in Women's Lives". Slide presentation and quilts are included.
When: Friday 18th October; 7.30pm
Where: Nunawading Uniting Church, 361 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading
Entry: $25.00. Tickets are available from Eastern Palliative Care. Entry includes refreshment, a light supper and an opportunity to view the exhibition. Booking strongly recommended.

North East Quilt Display Benalla
When: Sunday 20th October; 10am - 5pm
Where: Benalla Racecourse, Shepparton Road, Benalla
Entry: $5.00
Special display of quilts; Diverse range old and new; Traders and raffle; Morning and afternoon teas; Light lunch and bar available
